Propuesta de una prueba de alfabetización estadística en temas de pobreza y desigualdad en México

Resumen

En este artículo se presenta el proceso de construcción y características de una prueba para analizar la alfabetización estadística en estudiantes universitarios sobre el tema de pobreza y desigualdad. La propuesta se fundamenta en que no existen textos, materiales, actividades de aprendizaje ni un instrumento que permita acercar a los estudiantes a analizar, interpretar y aprender, desde la estadística, sobre el problema público de la pobreza y desigualdad en México. Se identifican las diferentes etapas para el diseño de la prueba, así como información de la validez, confiabilidad, índice de dificultad y poder de discriminación. Finalmente se discuten las implicaciones que tiene la prueba en la investigación en educación estadística y su enseñanza.
